Tips for Finding the Best Snowboard Bags

If you are planning to travel by air a snowboard bag is an absolute must.  The bag will protect your board from scrapes and bumps while being put through the rigours of an airport baggage area.  Snowboard bags can vary in quality though so here are a few tips to help you find the right bag for your board.

The best snowboard bags will have wheels so you can easily move them around. Make sure that the handle or strap is long enough for you.  If it has a shoulder strap make sure that it is padded and removable so that it won’t get caught in baggage equipment. The bag should have plenty of padding to protect the board.  Even the smallest nicks in your board can be costly to repair.  Look for strong double stitched or sealed seams.
