What You Need to Know About Snowboard Stomp Pads
Snowboard stomp pads can save you a lot of grief when you are getting of the chairlift. When you ride the chairlift, only your front foot is in the bindings on your board. Basically, the snowboard stomp pads allow your back foot to get traction when you are getting off the chairlift. You can then adjust your bindings safely.
The snowboard stomp pad should be mounted beside the bindings on the board. When you purchased your snowboard the stomp pad may have already been mounted but if not here’s a quick how to. Put your foot beside the back binding, place the stomp pad under your foot, then you will know where it should be. Remove your foot and gently peel off the backing from the pad. Place the pad sticky side down on to your board. Voila!
It might seem that the snowboard stomp pad is such a simple piece of equipment that it isn’t of value to you. Wrong. Use it once and you will realize just how valuable it is. With the stomp pad installed you will lessen your chance of injuring yourself when you first set foot off the lift.
