Use Snowboard Wax for a Smooth Ride
Sliding fast is what you want to do when you are snowboarding. In order for your board to run fast and smoothly you need to wax the snowboard regularly. Waxing your snowboard is an important part of maintaining your equipment. Wax your board about every third use, more if you snowboard on packed snow or ice.
You can buy a snowboard wax kit that contains everything you need to wax your board. These kits will usually have a scraper, buffing pad and wax. There are waxes for the different conditions on the ski hill and different temperatures. The best waxes are those meant to be applied with a hot snowboard iron. For fast acceleration consider a wax with HF (high fluorocarbon).
